Electronic Battle Command Game (Vintage, 1979)
Star Wars · Kenner · Complete in Box with Eaton’s Price Sticker

Released in 1979, the Star Wars Electronic Battle Command Game was Kenner’s early attempt to bring computerized gameplay to the Star Wars universe. Using light-up grids and simple programming inputs, players could simulate space battles between the Empire and the Rebel Alliance — a remarkable example of late-’70s toy innovation.

This example is complete in box, including:

  • Electronic Battle Command console with working display
  • Game Play and Technical Information instruction sheets
  • Coordinate sheets and score pads
  • Original outer box and Styrofoam insert

Notably, this set was never released in a bilingual box by Kenner Canada, but this example features an original Eaton’s price sticker, reflecting its rare Canadian retail provenance from U.S. overstock.
