Kenner Canada was partly owned by Irwin Toys Canada. Irwin was already making a utility belt kit including belt, walkie-talkie and other items under other licenses, so they quickly turned around and made a Star Wars version. The components were much lower quality than typical Kenner products.
There were 3 packs available: Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Leia. This blaster and belt came in both the Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker utility kits.
Gun is complete, but the clicking noise doesn't happen when trigger is pulled.
I'll include this stand, which is perfect for this little guy.
