AMT Star Wars A New Hope TIE Fighter 1:32 Scale Plastic Model Kit (Studio Series)
1:32 Scale Plastic Model Kit | A New Hope | 2024 | Studio Series | 13.5" (34.3 cm) Tall
AMT's large format Studio Series TIE Fighter, based on the filming miniatures used to shoot A New Hope. The kit builds into a 13.5 inch Imperial fighter with a full interior and requires paint and glue (not included).
Includes:
- 128 part TIE Fighter in gray and clear plastic
- Interior cockpit with Imperial pilot
- Clear parts for custom lighting
- Dome display base with metal support rod
- Replacement cap for display without the base
- Water slide decals for interior panels and exterior markings
- Full color decal placement guide and assembly instructions
This is an all new 1:32 tooling, well above the 1:48 scale of AMT's earlier TIE Fighter kit. The larger scale gives room for the cockpit interior and for lighting the clear parts. It launched in 2024 at an original retail price of CA$115.95 and has since sold out at most retailers.
