Part of Bandai's Meisho Movie Realization series, which reimagines Star Wars characters through the lens of feudal Japan. This figure depicts a sandtrooper as a "teppo ashigaru," a foot soldier armed with a matchlock firearm in the Sengoku period.

Design arrangement by Takayuki Takeya with sculpting by Junichi Taniguchi, the armour carries the same lamellar plate and cord lacing found across the line, distinguishing this trooper from its Taikoyaku Stormtrooper counterpart with its teppo and katana loadout. Designed to display alongside other Meisho Movie Realization figures such as Samurai General Darth Vader.
