Stephen Geddes was the sculptor of Kenner's TaunTaun. In the fur on the tail of the beast, Stephen hid his last name, and nobody at Kenner noticed.
Each TaunTaun has the "Geddes" name outlined by Stephen Geddes himself. It's kinda like he autographed it 40 years ago, then re-autographed it by writing over the original!

As a sculptor for Kenner from 1977 to 1985, Stephen Geddes sculpted many of the most iconic vintage Star Wars toys and action figures. His vintage portfolio includes 12-inch Ben Kenobi, Dionoga, Dagobah Playset, Taun-Taun, Rancor plus many figures like walrussman, Luke Hoth and more.
I have to thank 4th Moon for giving Star Wars fans to have a piece of Kenner Star Wars history. Having the autograph of a person who’s work shaped my childhood is a point of pride for my collection.
