As a sculptor for Kenner from 1977 to 1985, Stephen Geddes sculpted many of the most iconic vintage Star Wars toys and action figures. His vintage portfolio includes 12-inch Ben Kenobi, Dionoga, Dagobah Playset, Taun-Taun, Rancor plus many figures like Walrussman, Luke Hoth and more.
For the Dagobah Playset, he hid the names of family members in the sculpt for the playset and nobody at Kenner noticed. I asked him why he did it, and he said Kenner gave him way too much time to sculpt the playset and he got bored.
It was thing of legends until recently, when Stephen identified the locations of the 4 hidden names.
Stephen has autographed the top of the playsets, and personally outlined the hidden names. Geddes also sculpted in a mini self-portrait in the base of the tree, saying "It didn’t survive the tooling process gracefully, but I highlighted it anyway".
Each playset will include a Certificate of Authenticity from 4th Moon Toys.
