Black-armoured stormtroopers loyal to the renegade Imperial Carnor Jax, drawn from the Crimson Empire comic series. Released exclusively through the official StarWars.com online shop in 2006 in the same deluxe clamshell packaging used for the SDCC 501st Stormtrooper that year.

The figure reuses the 2004 VOTC Stormtrooper sculpt, repainted in gloss black with silver joint detailing. The highly reflective black armour is unique to this release and the sculpt's super-articulation carries forward intact.
