This blue Senate Guard represents Coruscant's elite security force. During his rise to power, Palpatine seized control of all Senate security, consolidating the blue guards with his crimson personal guard under direct authority. The revised helmet design with the black visor first appeared in the Clone Wars micro-series before carrying forward into Revenge of the Sith.
A repack of the 2005 ROTS figure, the sculpt features detailed armour beneath the robes – a nod to the Crimson Empire comics. The soft-goods cloak drapes nicely when undisturbed. Articulation is limited at the elbows (swivel only), typical for the era. This Greatest Battles Collection release adds the exclusive hologram figure pack-in that defined the 2006 subline.
