The complete Flashback Photo series — eleven figures bridging the original and prequel trilogies on the eve of The Phantom Menace. Each figure includes a Flashback Photo card with a pull-tab that shifts between the original trilogy character and their Episode I counterpart.

• Darth Vader figure with lightsaber
• Emperor Palpatine figure with Force lightning accessory

• Princess Leia (Ceremonial Dress) figure with medal of honour and cape
• R2-D2 figure with launching lightsaber
• Yoda figure with cane and boiling pot

Wave 2 (1999):

Released in late 1998 and early 1999 as the final chapter of the Power of the Force line before the Episode I toyline launched. The Flashback Photos hinted at connections between the trilogies — Obi-Wan's card revealed young Obi-Wan, Palpatine's showed Senator Palpatine, and Anakin's shifted between the Jedi spirit and young Anakin. Aunt Beru remains the only single-carded version of the character in the modern line, and her pack-in Treadwell Droid was the first 3.75" figure of that droid type.
