Swearingen Autographed X-Wing Box Front
Swearingen Autographed X-Wing Box Front
Box front from an original vintage Kenner X-Wing, autographed by its prototype designer, Jim Swearingen. Ready to be framed.
Jim Swearingen was a young designer for Kenner when they were approached for the Star Wars license. He worked on the prototypes for the first 12 figures, X-Wing and TIE Fighter. He was instrumental in the switch to 3.75" figures, stating that he wanted kids to be able to hold ships in their hands and create dog fights. You may recognize Jim from The Toys That Made Us on Netflix.
We're very fortunate to have worked with Jim on a selection of autographed items.
Each Box Front will include a unique Certificate of Authenticity from 4th Moon Toys.
Please review pictures carefully, as that is the exact item you will receive. Just so you know, I didn't cut these out, I received them as part of childhood collection.
