The 2002 FAO Schwarz exclusive rerelease of the classic 1984 Kenner Imperial Shuttle, built from the original molds with new weathered paint deco and updated decals.
Includes:
- Imperial Shuttle vehicle (no figures included)
Features press-button opening wings (span opens to 28 inches), retractable landing gear, fold-down extendible ramp, opening cockpit (fits 2 figures), removable door to access transport compartment, adjustable laser cannons, and a control grip. Unlike the 1984 original, the electronics have been removed — the weathered grey finish is the key visual distinction from the near-white vintage release. A second rerelease followed in 2006 as a Target exclusive under The Saga Collection.
