The Defense of Hoth set gives the Rebel Alliance some much-needed firepower against the Imperial assault on Echo Base. Released in October 2010 as a Target exclusive, this Empire Strikes Back battle pack pairs an all-new Anti-Vehicle Cannon with the Laser Tower from 2007's Battle of Hoth Ultimate Battle Pack.
The set includes three super-articulated figures: K-3PO (using the excellent Build-A-Droid body mold) and two Hoth Rebel Troopers ready to man the defences. The Laser Tower features an opening hatch that fits one figure and launches a missile, while the Anti-Vehicle Cannon includes "laser" sighting and also fires a missile. This pairs nicely with the Attack on Hoth set for recreating the full Battle of Hoth.
