Kenner-style Chewbacca moulded in mismatched prototype colours rather than screen deco, on a vintage-style Retro Collection cardback.
Includes:
- Bowcaster
The release takes its cue from factory test shots, which are moulded in whatever plastic is loaded in the machine at the time so the development team can evaluate the sculpt and mould alignment without deco distracting them. Each limb, the head and torso, and the bowcaster were cast in different colours drawn from red, orange, purple, green, yellow and blue, producing six documented variants. A repaint of the 2019 Retro Collection Chewbacca tooling, with four points of articulation.
