Released at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 as the first figure in Hasbro's ESB 40th Anniversary Kenner-tribute series, presented on a holographic Kenner-style card.

A repaint of the 2013 Black Series Boba Fett sculpt, recoloured to match the original 1979 Kenner figure's brighter, pre-production colour palette. The soft-goods cape was omitted for this release, and a Stormtrooper blaster was added in its place — a direct reference to the accessory packed with the original Kenner figure. The holographic card art and ESB 40th logo make this distinctly a convention-exclusive piece.
