Land of the Jawas Playset Palitoy - Loose Incomplete
This is the version of the Land of the Jawas playset that was released by Palitoy in the UK in 1978. It differs quite a bit from the Kenner version, as Palitoy tried to keep costs low on their ships and playsets. The base is a completely different material. Instead of the hard, molded plastic of the Kenner version, this one is a thin, vacuum formed plastic with a cardboard bottom. The backdrop is fairly similar, but made of thinner cardboard.
The playset is complete except for the small elevator piece. The cardboard backdrop is torn where it meets at the top, but it's still able to be put together and stays together.
Includes original stands and action stands (you were meant to stick figures on these and move them around)
